Nursing department is one of the front runners of the health oasis hospital and working independently through better communication and collaboration with other departments to foster a quality and safe patient care. Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities; prevention of illness and injury; alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of resident responses; and advocacy in health care for the residents in Health Oasis Hospital.
The unique function of the nurse is to assist the individual, sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery (or to peaceful death).Nurses develop a plan of care, working collaboratively with physicians, other interdisciplinary team members, the patient and the patient’s family, that focuses on treating illness to improve quality of life.
The Health Oasis Hospital nursing department is consisting with 9 small wards, 6 big wards and 8 HDU’s total of 23 units.
Long term care is a variety of service which aims to help patients who are medically and non-medically ill, and or patients who has disability that needs assistance with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) for a long period of time. Increasingly long term care involves providing a level of care that requires the expertise of skilled practitioners to address the often multiple chronic conditions associated with older populations.
