The Patient Affairs provides high quality services to all Health Oasis Hospital practices and also provides knowledge and information to various departments within the patient organizations. The department consists of Admission & Registration, Patient Relations, Medical Records and Food Coordination Section.
This department provides patients with information regarding their rights to make decisions about their healthcare, conditions of admission, patient rights and responsibilities which the patient may have. Whenever possible and appropriate to the patient’s condition, signatures required are obtained. Also, the department provides for translation and communication needs of those patients/visitors who are not fluent in the English language.
The main functions of Patient Affairs are:
Admit patients by supervising hospital admissions. Maximize patient’s benefits, orienting patients, relatives and families to the hospital admission process and information requirements.
Build a link between hospital, patients and their families and resolve any problems that arise and acts as a mediator for the care and treatments that are being provided by the hospital to the patient.
Collects, compiles analyzes and encodes data of all patient files. Provides annual hospital report and manage the medical record department
Resolve any problems that arise and act as a mediator for the food and services that are being provided by the Kitchen, as well as the care by the hospital to the patient.
